About The Role:
This position will support all recruitment needs of Hitachi’s Energy's High Voltage (PGHV) Americas manufacturing facilities which include the Mt. Pleasant, PA (multi-site) and Richland, MS. This role will also be responsible for supporting any external hourly and some salaried recruitment activities across the region including talent acquisition efforts related to external recruitment agencies/consultants. This person must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills and be able to manage multiple projects at one time while maintaining positive relationships internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
- Work with hiring managers on recruitment strategy, sourcing, interviewing, making offers, closing candidates and other recruitment processes.

- Work with Head HRBP PGHV Americas to manage the Mt. Pleasant Job Rotational Program.
- Work with external recruitment agencies/consultants on recruitment strategies and candidate selection process.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing plans to identify top talent.
- Maintain records and generate reports using HRIS system (Workday).
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding.
- Facilitate off boarding process.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze results.
- Comply with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
5+ years of progressive responsibility in Human Resources.
Experience working within the manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
Ability to develop relationships with internal clients and build partnerships.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and executive management.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization and follow through.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
