Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Proposal Analyst / Proposal Analyst. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems sector in Redondo Beach, CA.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Business Management Organization.
Roles and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Develops, plans and schedules proposals.
Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts.
Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings.
Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.
This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Proposal Analyst (A01) or Proposal Analyst (A02)
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Proposal Analyst (A01):
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2025.
Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2025 or is completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree by August 2025 from an accredited institution and 2 years of Proposal Analyst experience.
Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.
Preferred Qualifications
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork, capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
Pay Range
Associate Proposal Analyst (A01): $61,200 - $91,800
Proposal Analyst (A02): $73,900 - $110,900
