We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Facilities Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple facilities, implementing innovative programs, and managing relationships with clients and vendors. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Management:

  • Support the Area Manager in implementing short and long-term projects for clients
  • Collaborate with the Facility Management Lead and clients to develop innovative programs that reduce operating costs and increase productivity
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for clients
  • Manage capital and expense budgets in coordination with client representatives

Program Analysis and Development:

  • Develop and implement cost-effective and efficient facilities management programs
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly variance reports on operating budgets for each property
  • Assist in developing and implementing annual management plans for buildings within the assigned area

Financial Management:

  • Oversee the development and management of capital and expense budgets
  • Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements

Team Leadership:

  • Matrix manage both technical and administrative staff
  • Supervise vendor performance during normal and off-hours, including weekends when necessary
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Continuously improve facilities management processes and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 8 years of industry experience in corporate environments, third-party service providers, or as a consultant
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory abilities
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS SharePoint, and CMMS software
  • Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting, and building systems

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing multiple facilities with diverse functions
  • Proven track record in implementing cost-saving initiatives
  • Familiarity with sustainable facility management practices

Estimated total compensation for this position:

90,000.00 – 105,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
