Responsible for providing administrative/clerical duties at a location. Duties include greeting the public, answering questions, providing funeral and cremation information and other related topics, answering phones courteously with a goal to meet or exceed customer expectations. Duties must be performed consistent with company mission, values, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs day-to-day administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling meetings, filing, making copies, arranging travel and completing expense reports for management team.
- Receives incoming telephone calls and assists callers with any questions or comments, directs calls to appropriate team members.
- Maintains office and kitchenette supplies as well as fax machines, copiers and network printers positioned for general use within the team.
- Provides back-up support to specific administrative positions as assigned by management.
- May serve as Receptionist to greet and receive client families and or other persons entering the office for information and assistance.
- Assists with research and analysis of budget, time and attendance or other information regarding the team.
- Provides support in the reporting of reconciliation payments, period end processing, deposit reconciliation, account reconciliation, inventory maintenance of assets.
- Maintains a friendly attitude offering assistance and guidance to all persons entering the location.

MINIMUM Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- One year office work experience required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective writing, analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administration
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, calculators, fax machines, and copy machines
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to multi task and set priorities
- Detail oriented
- Professional and team player attitude
Work CONDITIONS
Work Environment
- Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
- Limited local and/or multiple location traveling required
- Comply with Field dress code policy
Work Postures
- Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
- Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently
Physical Demands
- Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage
- Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 10 pounds

- Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises
- Travel less than 10%
