As a Senior HR Business Systems Analyst, you will be the business technology lead for the Global Compensation Team. The Senior HR Business Systems Analyst is responsible for coordinating and enhancing both the technology and related business processes for Workday HCM modules, Anaplan (commission and bonus processing), the Stock Administration System and other tools/applications managed by the Compensation function in support of Capital Group’s 9300+ associates across North America, Europe and Asia.

The Senior HR Business Systems Analyst is responsible for documenting business requirements, analysis, design and functional architecture, coordinating UAT and acting as the subject matter expert and point of contact for the Compensation department’ s technology efforts.

  • You can effectively manage the demand for technology enhancements within the global Compensation department by analyzing and prioritizing requests, implementing strategies to optimizing resource utilization and balance competing priorities, while advancing the Compensation team’s technology enablement strategic goals.
  • You can effectively design and deliver technology enhancements requests defining functional requirements, collaborating with IT, coordinating UAT, serving as the point of contact to troubleshoot issues, and coordinating resolution and escalation with IT as necessary.
  • You can analyze, design, and optimize business processes through gathering and documenting business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and partnering with IT to implement solutions that increase efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.
  • You can apply critical thinking, analytical skills, and creativity to effectively identify, analyze, and solve problems, utilizing a variety of problem-solving techniques and strategies.
  • You can effectively collaborate with individuals and teams from different departments or areas of expertise by leveraging communication skills, active listening, and empathy to build strong working relationships, fostering a culture of mutual respect and trust, and achieving shared goals and objectives.
  • You are familiar with Workday or other HCM enterprise solutions and have a strong understanding of HR processes and data.
  • You can manage projects and software releases and overall product quality delivery.
  • You can provide support and leadership in advancing the skill sets and improving team practices and processes.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
