Are you ready to dive into real engineering challenges and gain hands-on experience at a global tech leader? This is your chance to join NXP Austria for an exciting summer internship where you’ll work with cutting-edge technology in our Automotive Near-Field-Communication (NFC) Lab.

What You Will Work On:
 

As part of our innovative development team, you will support both hardware and software engineering tasks, including:

 Hardware & Software Development

  • Contribute to the development of next-generation Automotive NFC Reference Designs

  • Support prototype testing and improvement

 Lab Validation Activities

  • Prepare and perform measurement setups for prototype validation

  • Support data processing with reporting templates

  • Create scripts for efficient data analysis

This internship gives you the chance to see your code and ideas come to life in real lab environments!
 

Your Profile:
 

You’re a motivated high‑school student or university student studying Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Engineering or a similar field.


Skills that help you shine:

  • Basic programming skills in C, Python or similar is a benefit

  • A solid understanding of electronics and computer engineering

  • A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and strong attention to quality

  • Enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies

  • Good written and spoken English skills
     

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.100- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
