In this role, you will lead the resolution of production incidents raised to the final level of support (Level 4) and drive process improvements and application optimizations in collaboration with business partners, software managers, and operations teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the operations of multiple critical applications, ensuring they run smoothly, and managing service level agreements for critical issues. You will work closely with Level 1, 2, and 3 teams to resolve incidents and ensure alignment across all support levels. A key focus of this role will be on performance monitoring and demonstrating data analytics to identify incident trends, optimize application performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Expertise in incident management and data-driven decision-making is essential for success in this role.
Job Qualifications
Soft Skills:
Deep technical– Technical experience in managing SAP S/4 HANA application changes and troubleshooting.
Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated technical expertise in supporting application in production by managing and resolving incidents in production. Consistent track record of effectively solving sophisticated business problems using technical solutions.
Communication –Ability to communicate technical concepts to teammates and non-technical colleagues. Ability to work effectively with peers, suppliers, multi-functional resources, and all levels of management (including Executives).
Prioritization Skills – Ability to handle multiple priorities and flow to the work.
Accepts Change/Agility: Demonstrable ability to adapt in fast-paced high-profile situations.
Supplier/vendor management – Experience in working with external service providers.
Self-starter - Able to work independently.
Proficiency in data analytics - ability to analyze data sets, identify patterns, trends, and insights, and derive meaningful conclusions. Familiarity with data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and data visualization tools such as Power BI
A solid understanding of organizational change principles, methodologies, and standard processes.
Hard Skills:
Proficiency in Power BI is helpful. including crafting interactive visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
Agile – Certified as Product owner/Scrum Master (Preferred).
ITIL certified. Experience supporting application managing incident management process.
Demonstrated experience in SAP S/4 HANA application as developer or application manager.
