We’re looking for a Head of Manufacturing Operations, Chandler to join Snap Lab at Snap Inc!

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the entire manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient assembly and rigorous testing of Snap's display products

  • Lead production teams, optimize processes, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely delivery of components

  • Elevate the organizational impact and operational efficiency of the Component Operations team across Process and Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing throughout the Chandler, AZ manufacturing site.

  • Develop organizational-level goals and drive commitments in partnership with cross functional teams within Snap Lab

  • Manage outsourced partners (OSAT and materials) including driving engineering requirements, yield drives and quality adherence

  • Build, mentor and grow a team of individual contributors

  • Influence key decisions and implementation of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for product engineering and manufacturing

  • Monitor production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives

  • Optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity

  • Iterate quickly without compromising quality and raise the bar on operational excellence

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of New Product Introduction

  • Ability to develop and implement production plans to meet organizational goals and customer demands

  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Leadership capabilities to drive and deliver results through motivating cross-cultural teams.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and statistical software

  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability. Appreciation of both practical and theoretical methodologies

  • Experience in equipment selection, commissioning and process set-up

  • Knowledge of troubleshooting guides, OCAPs, working documentation, safety

  • Knowledge of quality systems and reliability assessment

  • Ability to collaborate strategically with all facets of an organization from leadership through to engineers, designers, and other cross-functional teams

  • Ability to execute against defined objectives both tactically and strategically

  • Ability to communicate results clearly and effectively across a matrix organization

  • Experience leading medium and long term projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials or Physical Sciences

  • 14+ years of experience working in either a semiconductor or electronic assembly R&D or Engineering environment

  • 5+ years of management experience, including experience leading cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree in Engineering or Business preferred

  • Experience leading highly dispersed global teams  

  • Six-Sigma certification

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $244,000-$366,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $232,000-$348,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $208,000-$311,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
