Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role requires managing application features, overseeing release cycles, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer collaborates with various stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals, utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms. Continuous monitoring and adaptation are key to maintaining compatibility and delivering seamless user experiences across different environments.

- Expected to be a subject matter expert with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have influencing and advisory skills.
- Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of application configurations with business strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance and user satisfaction.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise and guiding problem-solving approaches.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management.
- Strong understanding of application configuration and release management processes.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party tools within packaged or SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms to customize and extend application functionalities.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of maintaining system stability and performance in dynamic business settings.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 18 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
