Your role and responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Veterinary Nursing Assistant (Patient Care Assistant) to join our friendly team to help in supporting our team of highly skilled Specialists, Residents, Interns, and Nurses.
The perfect candidate would be someone who has a passion for animal welfare and keen to develop their knowledge and experience within the veterinary industry.
You will work both independently and as part of a team to support the provision of inpatient care within our hospital from all disciplines. Key responsibilities will include dog walking, feeding and giving oral medications, cleaning and maintenance of our hospital, helping to restrain patients during procedures and providing ever so important TLC the patients within our care.
Experience is not essential, as full training and support will be provided, however, experience within a similar role would be advantageous. You will have the opportunity to build upon your existing skillset through a thorough and supported induction.
This is a full-time (average 35 hours per week), permanent position with shifts between 7:30 am-8:30 pm. You will participate in a weekend and Bank Holiday rota.
