We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven founding Demand Generation Lead to join our dynamic marketing team at Magical. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful demand generation strategies that generate high-quality leads and drive customer engagement. This will be the first time Magical is hiring for this role, so your experience and impact will be carving out a new function at the company.

Core responsibilities

  • Demand Generation Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies aligned with Magical's target customer segments and business objectives.

  • Channel Management: Oversee and optimize performance across various demand generation channels, including events, content marketing, performance marketing, sponsorships, and more.

  • Lifecycle Marketing: Own and manage Magical's lifecycle marketing program by developing journeys and writing emails for various stages of the customer journey.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure alignment and achieve company goals.

  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement targeted lead generation programs, such as webinars and events, to drive qualified leads into the sales pipeline.

  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and industry trends.

  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure campaign success and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in demand generation, preferably in a B2B environment

  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful demand generation campaigns

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform marketing strategies

  • Proficient in marketing automation software and CRM systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • High level of creativity and innovation

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization

  • Experience at early stage company (preferred)
