The Opportunity

The Flight Department is seeking a Flight Data Reception and Scanning Professional. This customer service professional will support the Flight Data & Certification Department as the first point of contact with the customer and strives to meet their needs in a professional, cheerful, courteous, and efficient manner. Records collected in the department will be submitted to the FAA, so accuracy is demanded of the position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving students and colleagues at the reception desk

  • Answering the phone and emails

  • Reviewing documentation for errors and scanning documents to support the process

  • Performing data entry

  • Supporting the needs of the Analysts, Specialists, ACR, and Manager

  • Guiding student assistants in support of those tasks

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.  Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.

  • High level of personal communication skills (particularly oral)

  • Strong computer skills

  • Detail and customer service oriented

  • Progressively responsible office experience preferred

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently
