Scopely is looking for a Director of Product to join an unannounced title working with External Development in our Shanghai office on a hybrid basis.
At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play, every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues, or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.
We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced AAA mobile game, and we’re assembling a team of passionate game makers to craft unforgettable environments and immersive adventures that players will love.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for developing product strategy for a portion of Scopely’s new game development portfolio to help us have the best chance of a breakout success. You will need to work with our User Insights team, and do qualitative and quantitative analysis on the market/competitive set to form a strong Point of View on where the products of opportunities and threats are. You will then work with our internal game teams to guide them toward the best commercial outcomes and help them answer commercial viability questions during the Greenlight process. You will also have the opportunity to partner with our corporate development team to find the right talent/product mix to add to our slate based on the product strategies you develop. In some cases, you will help the team to form the free-to-play live and monetization strategies during the meta game design phase of the project.
What We’re Looking For
Please submit your CV in English.
At Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that! We are committed to creating a diverse, supportive work environment where everyone is treated with respect. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join us & embrace the adventure!
