The candidate's work is fitting broadly within a team performing DRAM Design - Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO). The work involves close collaboration with product design teams, business units, CMOS process integration and design rule team, layout engineers. Developing and evaluating circuit and block level metrics predictive of product level Power-Performance-Area. The team member will be responsible for overall design, layout optimization and simulation of these proxy circuits and blocks. Working closely with Product Design, Business Units, Process Integration, Design Rules, Standard Cell Design and CAD teams to ensure best decision making enabling future DRAM products. Team member will be responsible for co-developing design rules and standard cell architecture with the goal of improving power, performance, area and cost. Working towards implementing DTCO designs in test vehicles by performing design, layout and verification of circuits and test structures; performing verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry standard simulators. Strong collaboration with CAD team to develop floorplan & routing automation. Cross group communication with Design Rules, CAD, Process integration and Layout Design to achieve DTCO goals.
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Design Engineerrelated occupation.
