Social media is a core part of that strategy. We believe the job is to create content that stops people mid-scroll. Content that educates, entertains, and earns attention. Content that feels human, not corporate.

The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to help run and grow Celonis’ social presence. This is a hands-on role for someone who can write great social copy, publish consistently, and create content that looks and feels native to the platform.

You’ll be responsible for day-to-day posting, social listening, community engagement, content creation (especially video). 

The Work You’ll Do

1) Social copywriting and publishing 

• Write high-quality social copy across content types: campaign posts, product moments, event content, customer stories, employer brand, culture, and reactive trends
• Own daily publishing across Celonis social channels, ensuring posts are timely, accurate, and on-brand
• Maintain a strong point of view on what “good” looks like and raise the quality bar every week

2) Content creation 

• Create short-form social content (especially video) that is platform-native and designed to earn engagement
• Capture and edit photos and videos at events, office moments, and executive engagements
• Collaborate with internal teams to shape raw ideas into scroll-stopping social assets

3) Social listening + community engagement

• Monitor social channels for mentions, comments, and relevant conversations across our industry
• Respond quickly and professionally with the right tone of voice
• Flag insights and opportunities (what people are asking, what’s landing, what needs a response)

4) Cross-functional collaboration

• Partner with Brand, PR/Comms, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and regional stakeholders
• Support major campaign moments with coordination, publishing, and content amplification
• Ensure social execution reflects the business context and story we’re trying to tell

5) Executive social 

• Support key senior leaders in North America with social content and publishing
• Help turn executive thinking into posts that feel authentic and sharp
• Align exec social with company narrative, campaigns, and key moments

What Success Looks Like

• Consistent delivery of high-quality posts across channels, with strong writing and sharp execution
• Noticeable improvement in content performance and audience engagement 
• Stronger community interaction and faster, smarter responses in comments and mentions
• Executives showing up more consistently with content that sounds human and credible
• Smooth collaboration with stakeholders, without creating bottlenecks

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media management for a brand (B2B or B2C)
• Exceptional writing skills and instinct for what works on LinkedIn and other social platforms
• Strong content creation skills: video, photography, and basic editing
• Experience with social listening and community management
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Bonus: experience supporting executive social or thought leadership content
• Bonus: familiarity with tools like Oktopost, Monday, Adobe Express or similar platforms
