Why is this role important:
The Store Planning Manager is the gatekeeper for changes to models, directs store planning and layout design activities. This includes new stores, renovations, re-sets, etc. ensuring optimization of operational effectiveness and customer experience, incorporating new business elements and reducing costs.
What you'll do:
Complete guidelines provided by Sr. Management and surface expectations as appropriate
New and existing partner set-ups. Coordinate from Blue print, fixture layout, partner with visual team, and establish follow-up and maintenance.
Management of the annual planning process for new stores, renovations, and refurbishments with respect to need, timing, required features, etc. for the various network of formats.
Set priorities in collaboration with operators and ensure that construction, refurbishment and renovation plans meet operational standards and enhance customer experience.
Work in collaboration with Visual leads in the development of store design standards, including layout, fixtures requirements, department and category space allocations and other features ensuring that standards promote operational effectiveness and contribute to lower costs.
Conduct post-mortem to validate results and operational effectiveness for all projects.
Direct the creating and modification of store models and standards for the format to incorporate input from operations, merchandising, new business categories, standard methodology research, customer feedback and other variables.
Development, execution and maintenance of store roll-out kit and standards
Collaborate with stores, various business partners to increase overall consistency among stores while accommodating exceptions that address unique store or market issues when warranted.
Partner with visual team, LPL, and fixture manufacturers to coordinate development of fixtures
Liaise with LPL, finance, vendors, etc. to ensure all partners are aligned on capital expenditures plans and sales projections.
Building and leading diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
What you bring:
Experience in retail property design and layout
Minimum 5 years’ experience in retails operations and merchandising
Highly organized with the ability to coordinate, collaborate with multiple partners
Strong analytical and time management stills
Must possess strong written and verbal communications skills
Travel required
