We have an exciting opportunity for 2 internal medicine residents to join the team at Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists.

The successful applicants will join a large team of referral clinicians (including 5 medicine diploma holders) and 4 other residents in a highly successful residency programme.  The successful applicant will spend the majority of time undertaking clinical duties including rotations through other relevant disciplines within the hospital, and out-of-hours duties, which are shared on a rota basis with the other residents with diplomate support.

The disciplines offered at Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists include internal medicine, oncology, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery, cardiology, neurology and neurosurgery, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, physiotherapy and anaesthesia.

The preferred candidate should have excellent ability to integrate and work in a team, with a passion for medical excellence and a commitment to achieving specialism in Internal Medicine.

The applicant must:

▪ have excellent English language skills

▪ be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) or be eligible to register

▪ have a minimum of two years of clinical experience since graduation.

The ideal candidate will have completed a rotating internship in a multidisciplinary referral centre.

All applicants must also be eligible to work in the UK.

Two references will be required for candidates called to interview. Visiting to meet the team is encouraged.

Salary Value:£38,000 per annum;
