Parsons is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager with a proven track record of delivering large-scale government systems to join our team supporting the FAA’s National Airspace System (NAS) modernization initiative. This role requires a results-oriented leader who can hit the ground running and manage logistics operations with a nationwide scope. Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) systems is a major plus.

The successful candidate will oversee logistics planning, supply chain management, and operational readiness to ensure the seamless integration and sustainment of modernized NAS capabilities. This is a high-impact role that requires strategic thinking, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Gathers and analyzes data on product plans and project objectives. Provides tracking, status reports, and logistics plans to support and ensure distribution and delivery commitments for manufacturing or servicing of products, equipment, and systems.
    • Develops policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
    • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors, inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve or improve desired results.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy to support the modernization, integration, and deployment of NAS systems and infrastructure.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of logistics activities with FAA priorities, timelines, and operational requirements.

  • Manage supply chain processes, including procurement, transportation, inventory management, and delivery of equipment and materials to FAA facilities.

  • Ensure the availability and efficient allocation of resources (personnel, equipment, and materials) to support modernization activities across communications, surveillance, automation, and facilities domains.

  • Monitor and manage logistics budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery of services and materials.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics operations, including supply chain disruptions, delays, and regulatory compliance issues.

  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with FAA operational, regulatory, and environmental standards.

  • Develop and execute logistics plans to support the transition of modernized NAS capabilities from implementation to sustained operations.

  • Coordinate training, documentation, and maintenance activities to ensure long-term supportability and operational readiness of modernized systems.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.

  • Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional - CSCP, Project Management Professional - PMP) preferred.

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in logistics management, supply chain operations, or related roles.

  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale government systems

  • Experience supporting large-scale modernization or integration projects, preferably within the aviation or transportation sectors.

  • Experience with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's)

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, logistics planning, Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT)Compliance and resource allocation.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).

  • Experience in Logistics Management, Inventory Control and Management, Technical Order Management as well as Procurement and Contracting

  • FAA experience to include Aircraft parts and components management

  • Experience with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS)

  • Aviation Maintenance Logistics experience and Performance Based Logistics (PBL)

  • Ability to travel to FAA facilities as needed to support logistics operations and stakeholder coordination.

  • Must be US Persons and able to pass a background check

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
