Job Summary:

Responsibility to own the relationship and manage the results of the Channel partners and water utilities in the SE Asia regions on Sensus water metering business. All aspects of the Partner relationship, from sales, marketing, ordering, stock holding, etc are within the responsibility and ownership of the job holder. Assist the Sales Director on all sales and marketing related activities to meet company objectives.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Sales responsibility for the delivery of revenue through the Distributors, resellers and other third party sales channels in SE Asia.
  • Engage water utilities on smart water metering and AMR/AMI solutions.
  • Make regular visits in the region, reports back through management key opportunities, issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide key account management via 80/20 rule.
  • Key account management.
  • Leverage experience across the Organization to meet company objectives.
  • Project pursuit and timely sales funnel reporting via salesforce.
  • Marketing support on customer seminar, roadshow and exhibition.
  • Provide high level selling to differentiate Sensus USP.

Key Competencies/Experience

  • At least 5 years water metering sales experience in SEA municipal market.
  • Significant Sales/Account Management experience in a channel environment.
  • Preferably detailed knowledge of metrology and communication in water meter, AMR and AMI devices.
  • Customer First Mindset.
  • Commercial Mindset / Business Acumen.
  • Hands on mentality.
  • Ability to build Trust.
  • Cross-boundary collaboration.
  • NRW reduction know-how is desirable.
  • Language Skills (English required, +2nd language would be useful).
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision and highly disciplined.
  • Excellent coordination, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker and able to identify and implement supply management tools.
