Job Summary:
Join our team as a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Store Associate. Your primary role will be to provide exceptional customer service, manage inventory, and contribute to the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Store Merchandise:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and requests.
- Efficiently and accurately process sales transactions using our POS system.
- Manage inventory by receiving and restocking merchandise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Assist with visual merchandising to ensure up-to-date and attractive displays.
- Proactively identify and report security concerns to the Team Store Manager.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and store goals.
- Stay informed about Sacramento Kings merchandise, promotions, and events.
Concert Merchandise:
- Prior to events, take inventory and prepare the stand display.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance fan experience.
- Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions using the POS system.
- After events, conduct final merchandise count for returns.
Warehouse Receiving, Distribution, and Order Fulfillment:
- Unload new product shipments.
- Count and prepare new items for the sales floor.
- Stock shelves and arrange merchandise displays.
- Process online orders and in-store pick-up orders.
Heat Press Operation:
- Perform heat press machine setup and daily maintenance.
- Customize jerseys as needed.
- Track inventory of customized items.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in sports or apparel.
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, with variable hours.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- A passion for the NBA and its merchandise is a plus.
Required Availability/Work Schedule:
Daytime Retail Support:
- 28 hours per week. 7 hours a day x 4 days per week
- Available 7 days a week, between the hours of 9am – 7:30pm
Game Day/Event Staff:
- Hours vary based on the game/event schedule
- For games, staff should be available to report to work by 4:45pm (for games starting at 7pm), and 2.5 hours prior to doors for all other game times.
- For events, hours will vary based on the needs of the event.
