What will you do?
A day in the life of a Senior Manager, Retail Marketing at Vans looks a little like this. You will play a pivotal role in evolving our consumer experience across our retail locations and formats. We are seeking a creative leader who will obsess consumer insights, understand shopping behaviors and comnsumer journeys by season and occasion to enhance and elevate the DTC retail experience, while ensuring brand synergy and consistency across consumer touchpoints. This role will report for the Chief Marketing Officer and work closely with the Global Marketing, Creative and Regional Retail teams.
Develop, drive, and own the DTC Retail Marketing vision and visual merchandising strategy for stores, brand, and all product categories to fuel business growth and brand equity across Vans’ Americas Owned & Operated Stores and Outlets.
Build, drive, and monitor Americas retail marketing plans and tools related to store openings, store re-fits, traffic driving and retail engagement initiatives, window displays, omni-channel marketing, and visual merchandising; from strategic planning to execution of key strategies/initiatives.
Monitor and report on KPIs (e.g., sales, traffic, conversion) to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future retail strategies & initiatives.
Oversee retail marketing budgets, ensuring optimal ROI and cost-effective operations to meet aligned KPIs.
Work closely with Brand Management, Media, Digital Marketing, and Creative to ensure that campaigns, plans, and tools are aligned across all channels.
Partner with Global Retail Marketing lead and AMER/EMEA/APAC Retail brand teams to leverage knowledge and share best practices globally.
Manage relationships with key WHS retail partners and vendors to enhance brand presence and support co-marketing efforts.

What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 7-9 years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Strong understanding of retail operations, consumer behavior, and omni-channel strategies. Proficient in data analysis (ROI, KPI tracking) and project management.
· Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive, integrated omni-channel retail marketing strategy.
· Passion for creativity, innovation, and problem-solving. Leads from a place of curiosity, continuous learning, and evolution.
· Demonstrated experience with navigating multiple stakeholders and gaining alignment at the executive level.
· Proven collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
· Excellent leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills to advise senior management and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
· Entrepreneurial attitude with demonstrated agility and adaptation to change in business needs or direction while staying organized and managing multiple projects/priorities.
· Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Partner with Global Retail Marketing lead and AMER/EMEA/APAC Retail brand teams to leverage knowledge and share best practices globally.
There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
Experience in global fashion, lifestyle, or sport brands preferred.
Large fleet, vertical retail, and store opening experience preferred.
Creative agency management and visual merchandising and storytelling experience preferred.

Hiring Range:
$138,240.00 USD - $172,800.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
