Are you passionate about engineering and problem-solving? We’re seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our Technical Application team. In this role, you’ll provide expert technical guidance to our sales, projects, and design teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Conducting seismic analysis and measuring engineering characteristics in compliance with industry standards (such as IEEE 693-2018, IEC 62271-100, and ETG).
  • Writing detailed technical reports for customer orders, reviewing technical data, and analyzing reports and drawings.
  • Working closely with our Technical Center (TC) and HVDC teams to ensure timely delivery of data for dynamic analysis.
  • Assisting in formulating test instructions and witnessing shake table tests at external facilities, adhering to relevant standards.
  • Performing Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis, evaluating results, and optimizing models using simulation techniques.
  • Contributing to process improvement by automating static and dynamic calculations.

Your background

  • You hold a University degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
  • You take initiative and propel your work forward.
  • You anticipate needs and take responsibility for problem-solving.
  • You maintain good structure and can handle prioritization between tasks.
  • Knowledge in Creo, Creo Simulate, Mathcad Prime and Excel VBA is beneficial.
