Northrop Grumman Enterprise Shared Services is seeking a customer service oriented Accounting Assistant 3 to support the Accounts Payable Customer Support Team. 

This position will require candidates to be local to Irving, TX.

The selected individual will report to the manager of Accounts Payable Customer Support and will utilize SAP and Open Text, Outlook, OASIS and ServiceNow, along with other inquiry management systems/customer portal tools, to support Accounts Payable functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, company policies and procedures, disclosure statements, and government regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Timely and accurate responses to external and internal customer inquiries

• Knowledge of A/P processing and be able to research and resolve customer questions with limited or no supervision. 

• The ability to professionally communicate related accounting policies and procedures

• The ability to multitask and work independently to meet service delivery agreements

• Research and respond to audit requests

• Support the A/P analysts by assisting with research and their internal customer inquiries

• Provide analytical support by providing reports and analysis to management on a regular basis

• Ability to collaborate and have a continuous learning mindset

• Complete special projects as assigned   
   

Basic Qualifications:           

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional
  education and/or related experience.

• Ability to work on site at our office in Irving, TX

• Accounts payable customer service experience is a must  

• Intermediate skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft applications including Word and Outlook

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong attention to detail and accounting orientation, and the ability to multi-task and manage time  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of GAAP; CAS; FAR as well as Corporate Accounting Policies and procedures

• Advanced Excel skills

Primary Level Salary Range: $43,700.00 - $72,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
