Position Summary

Acts as a liaison between the IT development group, business units, and the vendor for the development and implementation of enhancements to our existing systems. Evaluates quantitative and qualitative data, identifying systems requirements, end user needs, and strategies weighing upstream and downstream impacts. Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements, recommending appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements. Prepares communications and presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.

  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Compiles clear and comprehensive documentation, such as business requirement documents and use cases.
  • Collects and analyzes business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. 
  • Develops basic process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams to document as-is and to-be processes.
  • Conducts feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions and assesses potential solutions, technologies, or systems to address business needs.
  • Assists in conducting impact assessments and addressing user concerns timely. 
  • Conducts meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather feedback and validate requirements.
  • Actively contributes to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects, including sharing ideas, providing feedback, and contributing to the overall goals and objectives of the team.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of standardized templates, guidelines, and methodologies.


Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of project management/leadership experience
  • 3-5 years of Tableau and Microsoft Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • 3+ years of healthcare project management or informatics/analyst experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to develop informed strategies, identify system requirements, and recommend enhancements that account for both upstream and downstream impacts
  • Demonstrated problem solving, analytical, and decision making skills 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of relational data models, data system, and data warehouses
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and able to prioritize work effectively.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
