We’re looking for an Agency Development Partner to join the Snapchat Agency team, based in Beijing / Shenzhen, China! You will be responsible for developing and implementing our commercial strategy for the Chinese advertising market. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams within Snap, as well as external partners, to grow advertising sales in China.
What you’ll do:
Implement Snap’s commercial strategy for China, particularly through partnerships with Snap sales agencies in the market
Build and manage relationships with Sales agencies, including assisting in the contract and negotiations process, quota setting, and ongoing performance management
Partner with agencies to effectively deliver Snap’s narrative and product positioning, the ad offerings for best market and customer fit
Enable agency success through detailed training, resources, and thought leadership
Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the book of business under agencies, and inform leadership about trends and opportunities
Grow agency business by driving strategic initiatives, product adoption and business growth across the portfolio of agency accounts.
Become an expert in your market or region, with deep knowledge about the key players (both platforms and customers), local customs, and regional trends
Deliver on quarterly revenue and goals for your market(s)
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent
5+ years in media sales, media buying, partner management, management consulting, digital advertising and/or equivalent digital marketing roles
Strong knowledge of the Chinese advertising landscape (especially export advertising)
Proven track record of reaching and exceeding revenue goals
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with a “feel” for numbers
Experience in the export retail, gaming, and app industries
Ability to engage and partner with C-Level/VP level executives
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Passionate about Snapchat and up for the challenge of building something from the ground up
