PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Directs the planning, implementation, and execution of clinical, quality, and customer service training programs to promote quality patient care and achievement of corporate goals, with adherence to policies and procedures using generational learning theories for all specialties / modalities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adheres to company policy, procedures, compliance, regulatory, legal, and ethical, requirements.
Focuses all programs towards achieving clinical quality goals and improving patient outcomes, using company and industry guidelines and standards.
Partners with stakeholders and cross functional colleagues/ teams to achieve key responsibilities of the clinical organization including execution of national/regional strategy, initiatives, and coaching for clinical care teams.
Participates in the development of, implements and executes:
Planning, and standardization of education programs, processes, and systems for direct patient care personnel in the areas of clinical, quality, and business practices, and customer service.
An expanded measurement strategy to track, measure and report the impact of clinical education training programs and initiatives.
Strategy to support home therapy modality growth and support structures to integrate value-based care accountability into clinical quality workflow.
A high impact learning continuum that encourages reflection, enables knowledge sharing and empowers employees to gain necessary skills and competencies.
Collaboration and communication with stakeholders at all levels to maintain consistency, improve education programs, and training outcomes.
Competency evaluation of clinic staff to ensure continuous strong performance.
Analyzes outcomes, by surveillance and monitoring, to direct and guide education and training activities.
Collaborates with the coordinated care team and operations to assess and discuss clinical issues and develop action plans.
Supports a strategic integrated learning plan promoting employee development in all modalities.
Liaises and communicates information to operational leadership teams about corporate management and leadership developmental training programs as appropriate.
Provides leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce, partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.
Responsible for hiring, coaching, and counseling employees, including performance reviews, disciplinary action, and terminations.
Supports coaching and development opportunities to new clinic-based managers.
Contributes to the clinical aspects of orientation and training for new Group management support personnel.
Provides general oversight, guidance, and support of the preceptor programs to ensure successful clinical training and at the facility.
Maintains current knowledge about company products, services, strategies, and relevant technologies, community and regional healthcare market, and industry issues which may impact the business.
Monitors expenditures in support of department budget to meet or exceed budget goals.
Supports opportunities for learners to share experiences, network and develop impactful communities of support across the business.
Responsible for the development and competency of all educators.
Participates in the development of clinic staff competency evaluation to ensure continuous strong performance and high quality of care.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
