Global Commercial Operations Specialist

About the Role  

In this opportunity as a Global Commercial Operations Specialist, you will:

  • Work with Account Managers around the world, this role manages the life cycle of customer contracts in the Reuters News Agency.
  • Be responsible for guaranteeing the regulatory and compliance protocols, commercial policy, and a good understanding of contract standards and rights.
  • Be responsible for the drafting and life cycle management of News Agency contracts worldwide.
     

About You

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:

  • Contract management experience and familiarity with legal language.
  • Good understanding of financial regulatory protocols.
  • Experience of compliance and other standard business protocols.
  • Strong communication skills to suit a global business.
  • Experience of operational technologies and databases.
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Suite (e.g. Word, PPT, Excel).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good written English language skills (for drafting legal documents).
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work under a high paced environment.
  • Ability to self-motivate.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders across the Reuters business units & functional areas (Commercial Policy, Sales, Legal, Business Operations or Finance), as well as team members.
  • Experience of the news and media industry.
  • Additional languages (German and/or French will be a plus).
