Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Hatfield, PA!

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your understanding of accounting fundamentals within a best-in-class manufacturing environment. You will have the opportunity to perform professional accounting work including compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data in a collaborative and cross-functional setting.

Location: Hatfield, PA

Salary range: $65,700 - $72,000 plus bonus opportunity

Your Challenge

  • Perform month-end close processes (which include Prepare general ledger, asset, liability, and capital account journal entries, and account reconciliations). Review the accuracy of computations as well as perform uniform application of policies, procedures, and acceptable accounting standards.

  • Prepare income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and other accounting statements and reports. 

  • Maintains accounting controls by auditing compliance and recommending policies and procedures where needed.

  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for actuals, budgeting, and forecasting as well as complete variance analysis.

  • May design, modify, install, and/or maintain general accounting systems to provide records of assets, liabilities, and financial statements.

  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable to ensure that cash payments/receipts are completed timely.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in accounting.

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.

    • Some Cost Accounting experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience within manufacturing industry.

    • Experience in a publicly traded company and SOX testing is a plus

  • High proficiency in excel.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members and team leaders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
