You are:

An experienced, hands-on Data Management professional with hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter.  You excel at translating complex data into clear, actionable insights through compelling dashboards and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract data from various source systems — relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2), flat files, APIs, and cloud platforms.

• Develop and maintain ETL mappings, sessions, and workflows in Informatica PowerCenter.

• Implement data mapping specifications and business rules defined by analysts or stakeholders.

• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and DBAs to align ETL solutions with requirements.

• Ensure data consistency, performance, and scalability of ETL processes.

• Use Informatica transformations or scripts to handle data cleansing and standardization.

• Monitor and tune ETL jobs for performance (e.g., optimizing lookups, joins, partitioning).

• Apply data access controls and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• This role will require 3 days per week at the local offices or a client site

What you need:

• 3-5 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter ETL Development – hands-on experience building, debugging, and optimizing mappings, sessions, and workflows for large-scale data integration projects.

• Strong SQL and Database Skills – ability to write complex SQL queries, perform data validation, and work with relational databases

• Experience with Data Warehousing Concepts – solid understanding of ETL design patterns, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling principles.

• Performance Tuning and Optimization Expertise – experience improving mapping performance through partitioning, pushdown optimization, caching, and efficient transformations.

• Knowledge of Scheduling, Automation, and Version Control Tools – e.g. exposure to Git or SVN for code management.

• Strong Analytical, Documentation, and Communication skills

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Cloud Data Integration experience

• Scripting and Automation Skills

• Data Visualization or Reporting Tools – exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
