Ankara - Office, Türkiye (Hybrid)PROJECT MANAGER
Directs the project activities, including risk & opportunities, to reach completion of the project regarding its technical, industrial, financial and customer satisfaction aspects.
Manages and coordinates internal dedicated teams, Control Account Managers, Work Package Manager and external relationships with customer, suppliers, sub-contractors and partners.
The responsibility is exercised from signature of the contract through to the project completion period in terms of organization, time frame, workload, budget…
Principal responsabilities:
• Towards the responsilibities of the contract, accomplishment provide of project in planned time, with speacial focus on operational milestone delivery. Coordinate with functional managers the deliveries of the assigned project and the strategy and priorities.
• Supervision and coordination of internal and external teams and their associated work packages.
• Maintain constant and clear communication with customers, key suppliers, 3rd party contractors, management and other stakeholders.
• Coordination of all the necessary activities such as planning, trial and warranty period. Drive overall project planning and decide on the allocation of resources. Build and maintain project timeline. Align landmarks between the customer and internal partners.
• To plan the different phases of the project in terms of the resources needed to carry them out.
• Responsible for executing projects effectively to meet financial targets; Report project status and situation concerning costs, risks and opportunities to reach completion of the project with the highest customer satisfaction under the financial project parameter
• Assure the delivery of the project concerning Quality, RAMS and Safety.
• Purchase & Logistics: Manage project tasks, assigning it to work package managers, keeping track of such tasks in terms of objectives deliveries, cost, schedule and customer satisfaction.
• Manage and develop the relationship with the customer being the representative of the Company.
• Analyse and comment on KPIs, define and maintain the dictionary of metrics.
• Manage Continuous Improvement and lesson learnt.
Qualifications&Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and MBA is an asset
• Certification as Project Manager / Senior Project Manager equivalent degree in PMP/IPMA is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Rail Electrification / Signalling Or Relevant Project/Site Management experience in a railway environment.
• Experience of delivery of projects through the full project life cycle.
• Development and implementation of innovative project execution strategies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills – ability to deliver key messages efficiently and effectively.
• Commercial awareness and aptitude – able to contribute to commercial and contractual issues, drawing upon past experience with railway / engineering contracts.
• Leadership skills especially in leading international teams.
• Very good command of English and Spanish is an asset
