Application Specialist (AI/ML)

Location: Kuala Lumpur

 

Responsibilities and Duties 

1. Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.
2. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Implement best practices for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
4. Optimize algorithms and models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
5. Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI/ML systems in production.
7. Contribute to the development of reusable components, frameworks, and libraries to accelerate AI/ML development across the organization.

 

Qualifications and Skills 

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
3. Proven experience in software development, with a focus on AI/ML.
4. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
5. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, machine learning & software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jira).
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 7 strong analytical thinking & problem solving.
7. Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies & work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
