The Product Manager achieves sales targets (and expense control) by supporting the Associate Marketing Manager in establishing and controlling the sales strategy.

Specific responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:-

  • Drive sales performance, motivate teams, and develop account management plans for growth.

  • Support staff in implementing strategies for their territories.

  • Identify opportunities, create business plans, and manage budgets with performance analysis.

  • Monitor sales and expense performance, taking corrective actions when needed.

  • Track and report on distribution channels and sales achievements to identify opportunities.

  • Stay informed on product offerings, competitors, and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Negotiate agreements, conduct product demonstrations, and educate customers and colleagues.

  • Build awareness through technical advice and represent the organization at key events.

  • Develop strong connections with customers and key opinion leaders to enhance performance.

  • Foster trust and accountability through consistent, ethical actions and effective collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will ideally be degree qualified and will have gained significant sales and marketing experience and have a proud list of achievements.

They should be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge and skills in:

  • Skilled in sales management, motivation, persuasion, and selling skills training.

  • Negotiation and Contract Experience:

  • Proficient in tender and contract negotiations.

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities, including account plans and sales strategies.

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation capabilities in both English and local languages.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Taiwan healthcare market, key account management, and business budgeting.

  • Experienced with CRM systems and other sales tools.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.

  • Able to identify and articulate sales opportunities and potential risks.
