What you'll do:

  • Assists in achieving sales, profit and inventory targets with an understanding of financial metrics.
  • Works to ensure all listing package & purchase order deadlines are met and execute updates as necessary.
  • Create and maintain all weekly and seasonal sales reports that help drive assortment, SKU and receipt planning.
  • Monitors category sales weekly and proposes actions to the Senior Buyer/Senior Director as necessary (markdowns, promotional events, delivery follow-up, etc.).
  • Ensures correct pricing information is uploaded into systems including markdowns and promotional pricing.
  • Resolves systematic issues to ensure store scanning issues are minimized.
  • Validates all marketing assets prior to effective date (flyers, in-store signage, and campaigns).
  • Partners and works closely with various member of the internal and external teams; visual, marketing, product development, design, space planning, supply chain, vendors, etc.
  • Complete weekly ad hoc reporting.
  • Completes pre-season item setup and ensures data integrity in PLM & SAP. Works alongside Supply Chain and Sourcing to create accurate purchase orders that meet deadlines.
  • Uploads in-season pricing through markdown and promotional setup. Responds to reports provided by the store operations team to ensure store scanning issues are minimized.
  • Supports Buyers in proofing all marketing assets, including flyers, campaign, and in-store signage. Participates in the go-to-market strategy each season.
  • Works cross functionally with ecommerce team to ensure product is setup on time and with accuracy.
  • Partners with various members of the internal and external teams; visual, marketing, product development, design, visual and supply chain.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising considered an asset
  • Minimum 1-2 years in a merchandise capacity
  • Must be self-motivated, have solid time leadership skills, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Pivot Tables, Word and Power Point.
