We’re looking for a SolidWorks Drafter to join our Engineering team. This role involves creating detailed technical drawings and plans for our products and equipment using SolidWorks software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical design and drafting principles.

You’ll report to Sr. Mechanical Engineering Manager and work from our Santa Ana, CA office. Remote or hybrid candidates will not be considered.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Develop and modify designs based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.
    Prepare and review engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Assist in the development of new products and improvements to existing products.
    Ensure accuracy and completeness of all drawings and documentation.
  • Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.
  • Work cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Continuous Improvement, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are: 

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field or related experience.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software, min 3 years experience.
  • Experience with Solidworks PDM document platform experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design and drafting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.

Hourly Range: 

The hourly range for this position is $21-$33. Entry level operations positions generally start at an hourly rate of $17. Actual compensation in this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
