About the Role

On-site inpatient subacute health care for 20 beds (St John’s). The Support Services Assistant (SSA) will work across all clinical / patient and office areas to undertake the cleaning requirements to support the safe and effective clinical service delivery and patient care provided by SVCHS. 

  • Detailed cleaning of patient rooms including all fixtures and fittings/ ensuites and all ward facilities
  • Dust/mop/buff/spot clean hard floors, vacuum and clean all carpeted areas
  • Deliver meal trays to and collecting meal trays from patients 
  • ·Deliver and collecting water jugs
  • Transport patients between and/or within the ward / government functions and/ or visit center as per existing agreement

 

Classifications for this role is PS25 ($60,606.00 pro rata per annum)

Your Contribution

  • Experience as a cleaner within a health care environment
  • Food handling certificate
  • Cleaning Operations training course (preferable)
  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
