Employee Benefit Details:

  • Hours: MAKE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE! Must work at least 8 hours per pay period (every two weeks).
  • This is a part time temporary Caterpillar position intended to support the full-time production workforce.
  • Shift: Part Time - flexible hours
  • Starting Pay Rate: $17.50/hour.
  • Limited benefit package (eligible for Employee Assistance Program and Wellness Program)

  • No need to ask for days off - you make your own schedule within the guidelines noted above.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :

  • Perform various assembly or sub-assembly processes including but not limited to applying guarding, tape and sleeving
  • Ensure that all quality standards are met by visually inspecting work and/or with measuring devices
  • Meet or exceed production requirements or notify Team Lead or Manager of reason for deviation from standards
  • Work safely at all times and comply with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices
  • Keep work area, equipment, machines, etc. clean and orderly at all times
  • Perform other miscellaneous job assignments and related functions as directed by Team Lead, Manager or other designated person
  • Must perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems
  • Must also maintain a good working relationship with others within the organization

Basic Qualifications:

  • Previous employment or volunteer experience
  • The use of shop math, and the use of judgement to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of processes using standard methods and procedures
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Team attitude essential
