We are looking for a UI Full Stack Developer that is ready to be a team player on a Global Technology Team that delivers a comprehensive and holistic approach to a Business – IT centric relationship for finance departments across the globe. The best candidate will be able to contribute to the development, deployment, enhancement and maintenance of our UI / UX built for our business users. The ideal candidate will have the necessary technology and communication skills to manage highly visible and complex projects from start to finish.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As a UI Full Stack Developer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Design, Develop, Test, and Validate application solutions for Finance platforms based on the business requirements
• Sound fundamentals in Java, design patterns, requirement understanding, unit-testing.
• Issue debugging, investigate application related issues, handle and respond to critical application related support issues raised by the business with appropriate fix or technical resolution within a short span of time.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with business colleagues to carry out project related tasks smoothly in a coordinated approach.
• Should exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving skills and aptitude to work in a complex and challenging work environment.
• Work with infrastructure and other related teams to ensure deployment and operationalization of cloud applications.
• Work in complex environment with multi location teams.
• Must be able to work effectively both on teams as well as be self-motivated, task oriented and organized.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
• Experience in DevOps is a plus with hands on experience in Jenkins, Git and any one artifactory tool.

Required Skills / Applications / Certifications to help you succeed in this role:

• Application Development and Amazon Web Services – must have advanced skills in designing, developing, and deploying web based application. Hands on experience with Cloud data migration on Azure/AWS is a preferred. Front-End programming language, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React JS, etc. A solid knowledge base of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau–skills in integration and utilization of PowerBI and Tableau are a nice to have
• GitHub - Hands on experience with Git , maven and npm for maintenance packages and code.
• Functional Testing – Ability to execute functional testing
• Resolution through Risk and Issue Management.
• Data Engineering, Application Management and IT Infrastructure Support – Must be proficient in component-based UI development, creating reusable and composable elements with hands on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc and Database Persistence Framework (Hibernate, MyBatis or JDBC). Must have a solid foundational knowledge of semantic HTML, native JavaScript, and its patterns. Strong debugging skills and familiarity with UX design principles and tools like Figma and Sketch. Experience with HTTP Requests and Web Service Calls with the ability to use Web Browser’s network console to debug the Restful Web Service Call from frontend to backend.
• Business Operational, Technical Project Management, Delivery and Production Management Support – Must be able to provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners and management. Must be able to clearly communicate and document technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaboration and Teamwork – Must be able to work across a global teams from internal teams and client teams.
• Self-Motivated with Attention to Detail – Must have strong skills in Time Management, Critical Thinking, Strategic Thinking, Problem Solving, Active Listening and Decision Making
• Databricks – Familiarity and exposure to using SQL coding in a database; Databricks exposure to and conceptual understanding is a nice to have
• Atlassian Cloud Jira and Confluence – Experience in agile data and development engineering methods.
• Conceptual understanding of Data Lake House

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent field. The candidate should have industry experience (preferably in Financial Services). Proven work experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role with strong attention to detail.
