Job Description

As a Product Manager II, you will be an individual contributor responsible for developing and delivering against a strategy for a portfolio of products that supports outcomes for our external audiences and aligned with organizational strategy and goals.

This individual is responsible for overseeing the development and success of a product throughout its lifecycle. The primary goal is to ensure the product meets the needs of customers and achieves the business goals set by the organization through outcome driven impacts. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to market research to identify customer needs and trends, defining product requirements, prioritizing product features, developing a product roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, and marketing, overseeing the product development process, monitoring product performance, and managing product launches. This individual is the champion of the product and serves as the bridge between the customer, the development team, and the business. They must balance the competing demands of various stakeholders while keeping the product vision and strategy in mind.

  • Bachelors in business, engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience in product management or a related field with a portfolio of multiple product capabilities and scope, with a track record of achieving positive customer and business outcomes through delivery. OR 8+ years of experience without a degree.
  • Experience leading product development from ideation to launch. 
  • Ability to facilitate scope, design, and requirements discussions with a cross-functional team of business analysts, developers, testers, and others to develop, execute and release in alignment with priorities.
  • Technology aptitude with emphasis in website management, digital marketing, advertising, ecommerce, payments, and/or CRM/audience management technology solutions and tech stacks.
  • Ability to interact well with product and technology team members and business users.
  • Familiar with technical software delivery methodologies (i.e. Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, etc), process engineering, change management practices or business management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of both business and technical disciplines with the ability to view needs from an enterprise perspective.
  • Ability to facilitate scope, design and requirements discussions with a cross-functional team of business analysts, developers, testers and others to develop, execute and release in alignment with priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making. 
  • Ability to facilitate and resolve disagreements over scope, design, and requirements.
  • Strong understanding of current technology offerings and the ability to stay current with emerging trends.
  • Has a strong understanding of testing methodologies and user acceptance techniques and their ability to enhance products.
  • Must be results-driven with a proven record of completing work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio, web analytics tools, collaboration tools, etc.
