Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Press Operator position at their VR1 facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia. This position will report to the applicable Shift Supervisor as assigned.

Pay: $22.83 - $34.26 per hour depending on experience

Benefits:

  • Up to $120 for safety toed shoes

  • Up to $135 for uniforms

  • Up to $125 for prescription safety glasses

  • Overtime

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • At least 1 year of experience operating a machine is preferred

  • Accurately document and record information
  • Maintain performance numbers while producing good quality product
  • Facilitate press make-ready, run and wash-up
  • Effectively troubleshoot print quality, register and technical specification issues
  • Set up and operating the press in an effective and efficient manner
  • Monitor equipment and the printing process to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standards
  • Demonstrates timely and effective problem solving skills
  • Provides data to Prism in support of the manufacturing, sales, and materials information systems
  • Demonstrates effective interaction skills to support team activities related to effective process decisions and goals
  • Demonstrates knowledge and ability to perform quality control tests to ensure customer specifications
  • Ensures that finished product is produced according to customer specifications
  • Understand and follow GMPs for Food Safety
  • Resume containing qualifications is required for further consideration

Internal Applicants:

  • Last performance review was rated “Performer” or higher
  • No disciplinary actions beyond a written within the past year
  • Must be in current role for more than 120 days
