Introduction

Leads and oversees end‑to‑end execution of strategic custom silicon customer programs, including MCUs, MPUs and radar‑class SoCs, for customers (Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace & Defense etc..). Manages a global team of Customer Program Managers and serves as the senior execution interface between customers and GlobalFoundries/MIPS cross‑functional teams.

Your Job

  • Own full lifecycle execution of customer‑specific silicon programs from early engagement through SOP, volume ramp, and sustaining.

  • Lead and scale a global Customer Program Management organization supporting multiple customers and products.

  • Serve as the primary executive contact for automotive Tier‑1 customers on program delivery, execution status, and escalations.

  • Drive alignment across MIPS IP, design enablement, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams.

  • Establish and run program governance, milestones, KPIs, and risk management for complex, multi‑year custom products.

  • Ensure programs meet customer commitments, quality and safety expectations, and financial objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. PhD will be beneficial.

  • 15+ years experience in semiconductor deliveries (design house or vendor management)

  • Proven success managing automotive‑class customer programs through full silicon lifecycles.

  • Demonstrated leadership of global, matrixed teams.
