Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester with strong expertise in Python or Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. Experience in the Payments domain is considered a strong advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python or Robot Framework.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects.
- Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks.
- Document test cases, results, and defects in a structured manner.
- Provide clear and actionable feedback to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members to build a high-performing automation culture.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Python or Robot Framework for test automation.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation suites.
Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
Test Design: Strong experience in authoring detailed test cases and automation-first test plans
Experience in the Payments domain (SEPA, ISO 20022, SWIFT, MT to MX migration).
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Bruno).
Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter).
Knowledge of compliance standards (PCI DSS, PSD2).

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Clear2Pay.
- Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Passion for mentoring, fostering automation culture, and enabling continuous learning within the team.
