Who You’ll Work With:
We are seeking an individual to support and partner with US Retail Sales to facilitate, execute, and help design our development programs for our sales professionals. The Strategic Sales Trainer is an integral partner in managing training activities and building employee skills; often providing new hires with their first impression of AB. An ideal candidate must possess strong communication and organizational skills, work effectively with internal clients, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice and enjoy the challenges of sharpening our salespeople’s skills as well as helping to develop the next generation of talent in a growing organization.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in the facilitation of US Retail Sales and Development Training programs; specifically, onboarding & ongoing development curriculums for our sales professionals.
Coordinate logistics for training programs, including but not limited to scheduling presenters, booking meeting rooms, sending out session invites, assigning mentors, setting up trainee user accounts.
Solicit and implement feedback from managers, participants, and internal partners to ensure training programs meet current and future business needs.
Spearhead regular content review of existing training modules with internal partners.
Track trainee progress through our programs, ensuring they are enrolled in the correct programs for their tenure and job function.
Facilitate quarterly review of presenters used across training programs to ensure efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and at least 2 years of industry experience. Additionally, the candidate should possess:
In-depth knowledge of the Asset Management business and be a positive brand ambassador for the firm
Prior experience and knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, and SMAs.
Project management experience as well as strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
Accomplished communicator with experience interacting at all levels.
The candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and have demonstrated success managing multiple areas of responsibility at once.
The individual must have strong attention to detail, creativity, and decision-making skills.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with Zoom and digital learning management systems such as Allego or Brainshark a plus
Series 7, Series 63 or 66 licenses required.
