Position Summary:

The Project Management Supervisor supports the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives within Crystal Bridges’ Brand Experience & Activation Team (BEAT), ensuring projects move forward smoothly, on time, and with clarity across teams.

This role is both hands-on and supervisory—managing key projects directly while also providing guidance and oversight to a small group of Project Managers or Coordinators. The Project Management Supervisor helps translate campaign strategies into actionable work plans, maintains workflow discipline, and ensures consistent project management standards across initiatives for Crystal Bridges and The Momentary.

This is a growth-oriented role for an emerging leader who is developing people management skills while deepening expertise in integrated marketing operations.

Principal Responsibilities

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Lead the execution of assigned marketing initiatives from intake through delivery, including timelines, task coordination, approvals, and risk management.
  • Translate campaign and program strategies into clear, actionable project plans with defined deliverables and milestones.
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule, within scope, and aligned with brand and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and escalate as needed.

Supervision & Team Support

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Project Managers and/or Coordinators.
  • Review project plans, timelines, and workflows to ensure consistency and feasibility.
  • Offer coaching and feedback to help team members strengthen project scoping, prioritization, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Support a collaborative, accountable, and solutions-oriented team culture.

Workflow & Process Management

  • Apply and uphold established project management processes, templates, and workflows.
  • Support consistent use of project management tools (Asana), ensuring accuracy and visibility across teams.
  • Partner with leadership to improve workflow efficiency and clarity across BEAT initiatives.
  • Participate in retrospectives and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Strategy, Creative, Digital, and PR partners to coordinate timelines and deliverables.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for project-related questions, updates, and alignment.
  • Help ensure smooth handoffs between planning, creative development, production, and launch phases.

Reporting & Visibility

  • Maintain accurate project status updates, timelines, and task tracking.
  • Flag capacity issues or competing priorities early to support effective resourcing decisions.
  • Assist in preparing project summaries, status reports, and post-project reviews.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum

  • 4–6 years of project management experience, ideally within integrated marketing, creative, or production environments.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with overlapping timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and support others in delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

Preferred

  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior project managers or coordinators.
  • Familiarity with marketing or creative workflows across multiple channels.
  • Experience using Asana or similar project management platforms.
  • Interest in developing people leadership and operational management skills.
