Responsibilities:
The Greif Early Career Program offers a 10-week corporate internship experience. Participants will undertake IT project-based assignments focused on integration.
• Collaborate with the team on integration projects and contribute to solving complex technical challenges
• Understanding of client server architecture, web services and API protocols such as REST and SOAP
• Work with various payload formats like XML, JSON etc.
• Test APIs using testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
• Understanding of OpenAPI specification and ability to create API Documentation

You will have the opportunity to:
• Attend the week-long Internship Summit at Greif’s corporate headquarters in Delaware, Ohio
• Assist in IT assignments and ongoing projects
• Familiarize yourself with departmental functions
• Get exposure to and experience large-scale enterprise applications
• Work on complex integration tasks and enhance your skills in a critical area of technology
• Acquire in-depth knowledge and practical experience in a dynamic and impactful field
• Attend internship events, social networking events, and roundtables
• Potentially present to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the internship
• Contribute to performance goals and assigned projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum completion of three years of college required prior to the start of your internship, with enrollment in a master's program preferred
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to work full-time during the 10-week internship experience beginning May 19th, 2025, to July 25th, 2025

What sets you apart:
• Strong academic background, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above
• Relevant internship, work experience, or involvement with professional clubs/organizations
• Proficiency in API and programming, with experience in any programming language and familiarity with client-server architecture and web services
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Demonstrates ownership and initiative in your approach to tasks
• Curiosity and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to engage proactively in your learning and contributions
• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, time management, analytical, and adaptability skills
