Job Description

Functional Responsibility
Responsible for the day-to-day management of Security, ensuring primary corporate value and company to
be safe and secure, achieved through corporate policy, timely advice, and effective security performance
by the airline and its contractors.
Role Responsibility

- Promote AirAsia’s culture within the organization

- Develop and retain talents to groom next-generation leaders for department
Functional Duties
- To ensure that Indonesia AirAsia's Security Policy is compliant with the legislation requirements by Indonesian law and local regulators.
- To ensure the conditions of Indonesia AirAsia both as a company and flight safely are well secured through proper security processes.
- Responsible for managing operational and daily activities stated in a Security Policy.
- Direct report to Indonesia AirAsia CEO, and comply with requirements of the International flight rules (ICAO Annex 17) and National Security Program. This designation is very important to facilitate the development and has the authority to implement, review, and maintain the Aviation Security Program.
- Authorized to issue a "Security Notice", or "Memo Security" related to Aviation Security (if required)
- Responsible for Indonesia AirAsia's protection, safety, and security, including the entire staff, facilities, and passengers.
- Ensuring security systems, security policies, procedures, and preventive activities against illegal actions (Acts of unlawful interference) according to procedures.
- Develop and maintain emergency response and crisis management plans for aviation security incidents.
- Provide recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer related to IAA National and International Aviation Security regulations that comply with regulations, and statutory provisions.
- Ensuring existing Security Programs are effective and efficient (including ground handling).
- Evaluate and implement cutting-edge security technologies to enhance overall security capabilities.
- Communicating and coordinating with internal and external agencies/departments related to flight safety and security.
- Provide 1x 24-hour response in case of incident/accident, including risk assessment of bomb threats and other emergency issues
- As the representative of Indonesia AirAsia in the National Aviation Security Committee and other flight safety organizations.
- Ensure existing effective and efficient internal supervision functions, which also result in reports being stored as evidence.
- Approve and control the annual budget for Aviation Security.
Role Duties
- Develop a long-term plan and set high-level targets for the department to align with overall Group targets and business plan
- Oversee annual plan and budget developments for the department including ensuring budget adherence to the approved budget
- Develop and maintain good relationships with related business partners both internally and externally
- Monitor SOP development and amendment to ensure all SOPs align with Regional standards and guidelines, and comply with regulatory requirement
- Track operating progress and results against annual plan and KPIs to ensure targets are met; provide support as needed
- Support innovation and continuous improvement including promoting best practices within AirAsia
- Communicate with Regional management on related topics to develop good relationships and understand business needs

Merits
Minimum working experience:
- At least 3 years in the Aviation Security and Management field.
- Prior experience in AVSEC or any related security field.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Security Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Professional qualifications:
- SKP (Surat Kecakapan Personil)
Training required for the position (if any):
- AVSEC Management
