About the role 

Nubank’s continued success hinges on our Platform Product Managers, who play a crucial role in recognizing and solving important customer problems at scale. This role is vital as it synthesizes our broader business strategy with the needs of development teams across the company. By building products that create leverage for our business, these managers simplify and scale capabilities to unlock potential and mitigate risks. Their work impacts our core cloud architecture, data infrastructure, finance, security platforms, customer service tools, and other internal products. They own the goal of equipping Nubank to meet evolving customer needs for decades.

 

You will be responsible for

  • As a Platform Product Manager, a typical day involves:
  • Defining, prioritizing, and communicating both short and long-term product goals.
  • Developing a deep understanding of users and stakeholders through research, data analysis, and interviews.
  • Specifying and refining product requirements from conception to launch, collaborating closely with engineering and, if needed, design, data science, credit, and finance teams.
  • Staying updated on complex areas like cloud services and information security to guide the team.
  • Acting as an evangelist, ensuring clear communication between the team and stakeholders to bridge understanding gaps.

 

We are looking for a person who has

  • Experience working with software products as a Product Manager or a similar role.
  • Robust experience managing the entire product life-cycle for successful tech products.
  • A strong desire to discover and fulfill user needs.
  • Confidence in working with numbers and data-driven decision-making.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • An aptitude for turning incomplete or conflicting information into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in presentation.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • A deep willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
