CACI is seeking a cleared Cybersecurity Engineer to support an Army Program Office on Fort Belvoir, VA.  As an ISSO you’ll assist with all cybersecurity / information technology aspects of tactical system such as but not limited to: discover cyber risks, develop mitigation plans, perform cybersecurity scans and conduct analyses and risk/vulnerability assessments, understand DoD, US Army, and NIST policies. This opportunity to act as an information security subject matter expert requires on-site support at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Secret clearance required.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provide technical reviews of DISA STIGs and validate compliance automated security scans, checklists, and code scans
  • Perform detail security assessments of tactical system to assess the effectiveness of security controls, identify weaknesses and potential vulnerability
  • Utilize eMASS to create authorization packages, upload system scan data, review and manage POA&Ms
  • Develop, evaluate, and update security documentation to include Security Assessment Report (SAR), Risk Assessment Report (RAR), System Security Plan (SSP), Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), Incident Response Plan (IRP), Detailed Architecture Diagrams, and Implementation Plan
  • Develop detailed test plans and schedules to verify system component/software interfaces, and validate system requirements
  • Perform vulnerability scans and conduct Continuous Monitoring activities per Client requirement
  • Review and evaluate system performance against cybersecurity related specification requirements, monitor and assess field performance, and assess risk
  • Prepare and evaluate cybersecurity security strategies
  • Provide compliance management for the Information Assurance Vulnerability Patch Management (IAVM) process

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • BS Cybersecurity or equivalent and > 5 years of relevant experience
  • CompTia Security + Certification
  • Knowledge of DoD, NIST, and US Army Cybersecurity policies and regulations
  • Experience with RMF, eMASS, ACAS scans, Information Security and Compliance, FISMA, Security Documentation Review, Penetration Testing, Software Development, Systems & Cloud - Linux, Windows, MS Azure, AWS.
