JR60120 LPDDR Product Engineering Process and Operation Engineer

There are two main job responsibilities; 1) LPDDR Product Engineering (PE) Process Engineer and 2) PE Media Health Team Operation Engineer.

1) LPDDR PE Process

You will be engaged in process and test optimization to improve yield and quality on the Mobile DRAM products including NPI and HVM parts. 

A key responsibility of this role is also to drive cross functional team to provide process and/or test solutions through process/test/param/RDA/fab tool data mining and analysis, layout & circuit operation check.  This team serves all Mobile DRAM products.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Failure analysis on Probe/BE and BURN results to improve yield and quality of the Mobile DRAM. 
  • Connect with and drive fab & TD teams to fix process-related issues.
  • Connect with PDTL, PE product, Test Enable teams to implement tests to shift left and prevent yield and quality issues
  • Optimize process and test to find solutions at given time for fast yield ramp and quality improvement
  • Proactively detect issues on process based on lessons learned from previous generations and proactively find process and test solutions to prevent them from being bigger problem.
  • Implement test registers at probe or propose inline monitor to prevent BE fallout and/or degradation at BURN/Customer.
  •  Propose and add process/test critical metrics to improve yield and quality of DRAM products.
  •  Propose layouts/circuits to prevent issues from happening in future products/nodes.
  • Connect with Customer on specific process issues that are causing Qual or HVM fails
  • Work and align with BU, GQ, PE, Fab, TD teams on how to connect with customers.
  • Discuss with fab on fail mechanism and come up with reasonable explanation and CIP to explain to customer.
  • Mentor and educate PE team members on fab process/tools/devices and Business processes while modeling servant leadership

2) PE Media Health Team Operation Engineer.

You will be responsible for managing operation cost, contractors administration, developing training programs for young engineers.

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or other field of Engineering
  • Strong project management, planning, and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 7+ years of relevant subject matter experience in memory products, fab process and device development
