Join CPA as a Disability Support Worker in our Home & Community program across the Northern Beaches region, and experience the satisfaction by supporting your clients to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and thrive in a supportive environment.

Primarily, these positions include community-based one-on-one support where you'll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and encourage independence by taking them out into the community.

These positions are designed to service clients across the Northern Beaches!

There are multiple vacancies available, including both permanent part-time and casual roles, dependent on the candidate.

The Role:

Support CPA clients with personalised and person-centered care, helping them to live independent and empowered lives. Your day-to-day may include:

• Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making
• Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
• Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)
• Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
• Building positive relationships with our clients.

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key!

• Someone who embodies CPA values, is client-focused in their approach to care, and driven by the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
• Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers
• Availability for a minimum of 3 days per week (15-20+ hours)
• Available to work shifts between the hours of 9am - 4pm.
• Comfortable travelling across the Northern Beaches
• A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
