Job Description Summary

The Engagement Manager is the primary point of contact between the client and DXC, as well as responsible for oversight of all project deliverables and activities necessary to enable development and delivery of best-in-class processes and tool functionality.  They possess practical business and IT experience gained from years serving the ServiceNow needs of multiple customers across many industry verticals.  The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing project size, complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value while demonstrating leadership in guiding project teams to successful outcomes.
 

Key Role Functions

  • Create and manage the project schedule, including tracking tasks, issues, and risks.
  • Ensure adherence to the project Statement of Work (SOW) and Change Orders (COs).
  • Manage project resources and allocate tasks effectively.
  • Oversee and monitor the project budget to ensure profitability.
  • Serve as the primary communication link between stakeholders, ensuring transparency.
  • Utilize agile methodologies to drive project success and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in managing industry or client relationships.
  • 3+ years of relevant consulting experience.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in IT Service Management environments.

Skills

  • ServiceNow: 4+ years of hands-on experience.
  • IT Service Management (ITSM): 5+ years of experience.
  • Project Management: 7+ years of experience managing complex projects.
  • Strong communication and consulting skills, with an ability to tailor interactions to different audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to guide and mentor project teams.
  • Strong strategic planning and management abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving, able to anticipate and resolve issues swiftly.
  • Flexibility in personal style to adapt to varying client and team dynamics.
  • Ability to understand and align with the client’s business needs and environment.

Certifications (Required/Preferred):

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (required).
  • Scrum Master Certification (preferred).
  • ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred).
  • ServiceNow Pre-Sales & Sales Micro Certifications (preferred).

Work Environment:

  • Remote office environment.
  • Up to 50% travel may be required.
